Personal Growth Workshops and Podcasts

Early in the pandemic, I developed a training that would help others gain balance during a time of a drastic change, so that they could successfully commit to the goals they wanted to accomplish.

I knew there was a need for this training, because I felt all this pressure to be knocking down goals, one after the next, and I wasn’t doing it. I was putting a lot of expectations on myself. I was all over the place; totally unbalanced. I couldn’t get any projects started, much less done.

Rather than sit in that state, I designed this four-hour workshop using the tools I had learned from years of recovery, therapy, coaching and general wellness work. After applying this work to my own life, it was time to lead others from the inception of their goals, on through to making them their realities.

Highlights of the Half-Day Retreat:

-Tools and journaling for pinpointing the goals they really wanted

-A method for leveraging their deeper “why” behind their goals so that they would stay committed

-A clear blueprint to create balance and manage their self-care so that they stayed on track and goals were being met

-A contract that they created to commit towards their self-designed plan for success

This retreat was for professional men who were burnt out, felt disconnected and lacked creative outlets. In this four-hour training I led them through personal development exercises, facilitating an experience that demonstrated the powerful relationship between creativity and connection .

What Attendees Got Out of This Powerful Half-Day Retreat:

• A clear blueprint to create work-life balance and begin taking their lives back
• Steps to set boundaries and draft a plan for their own self-care
• Commitments they made to how they would fully express themselves, creatively and emotionally
• Tools for facilitating connection to build and on strengthen their relationships

I had the privilege of being invited on The Unshakable Man Podcast: a show and community for men who want to be their best emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual versions of themselves.

Co-Owner of The Unshakable Man, Chris Wilson and I got together for a 45 minute deep dive on how we find connection through creativity, and we tackle the myth that not everyone is creative.

Since recording this episode, Chris has become a friend, and we work together in a weekly men’s group. I love this guy. When I was early in my journey, he saw value in what I was doing, and asked me to be on this podcast. I am grateful that he took a shot on having me. Thanks, Chris.
